Dallas, Texas – Mack White III, the young actor who portrays Jessie Armstead, the former Carter High star and ex-National Football League player in the new movie, “Carter High” visited with about two dozen students in a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program at The Ninth Grade Center in Cedar Hill, TX. His topic was “A New Mindset.”
“Trouble is easy to get into, but it’s hard to get out of,” White said, telling the students how his anger and frustrations got the best of him. But he learned from his transgression, he said, and so can they. “There’s a difference between ignorance and stupid,” White said. “Ignorance is not knowing; stupid is knowing but continuing to make the same mistakes. Every person in here, we all know that when you do wrong, there are consequences. So when we continue to do wrong, that’s being stupid.”
